12 Vacation Tips For Breezes Bahamas All Inclusive Resort

By: Lars Nielssen

Tip 1. I would definitely recommend Stuart Coves for snorkeling, SUBS, scuba diving and anything else they offer. They are very professional and not too expensive. Dolphin encounters on Blue Lagoon is also a good choice.

Tip 2. Book a nicer all-inclusive, and you wont have any reason to leave the resort. There are quite a few gorgeous hotels near this one that are better worth their price.

Tip 3. If you have the opportunity while staying in Grand Bahamas Island, have dinner at Twin Brothers Seafood and Steakhouse located at The Fish Fry. Very Bahamian feel, fresh seafood, amazing experience.

Tip 4. If you plan to gamble go down the street to Crystal Palace, it's in a walking distance. Take a bus instead of a taxi. There is always a friendly face to point you in the right direction. The city bus runs from 7am to 6pm and is only a dollar. Since the island we were on is only 7 miles wide and 22 miles long, you can go anywhere on the city bus.

Tip 5. If you want dinner reservations get to the desk in the lobby by 8am and the reservations will be for the following night...it is next to impossible to get a table for the same evening.

Tip 6. The hotel's shop is overpriced. Take the bus downtown and get things for much less (except the shot glasses at some places!) Eat all your food at the hotel, it's not bad and will save you a lot of money!

Tip 7. The cheapest place to buy things is in the stores not the public people. If you are planning on scuba diving with your girlfriend don't talk about sharks the night before or else you wont go:)

Tip 8. Check out their 'Rastafari' - it's pretty good... Our friends did the 'Garden of Eden' and were not impressed.

Tip 9. Don't use the taxi services. On the first day we were there, and they charged us $200.00 for a ride through town. All of them have there own price and they are all expensive. Take the bus for a dollar it's the only way to go!

Tip 10. During our stay, we got massages, went to The Astrada Gardens, and participated in some water sports. The beach is beautiful, and the water was crystal clear blue...I would recommend it.

Tip 11. Do day excursions you'll see dolphins and sting rays. Take the No. 10 bus to town for $1. It comes directly to the hotel, has AC and runs every 5 minutes.

Tip 12. Bring insect spray, you will need it. Have change of clothes and bathing suit ready upon arrival. Barter, barter at the markets!
