Beaches In The Sunshine State

Known as the "Sunshine State", millions of tourists flock to Florida's beautiful beaches and warm weather every year. The biggest attraction that Florida has to offer its visitors are its various beaches and this state is full of seashores and sand bars.

Florida's various beaches offer visitors an array of activities such as boating, fishing, surfing, sunbathing, surfing, and a whole lot more. There are also popular beach sports that appeal to a lot of people such as football and volleyball. Recreational activities isn't the only thing that people can do on the beaches of Florida. In fact, weddings and other kinds of celebrations are very popular on the Florida shores. Also, a lot of events and activities for families occur in some beaches.

For those courageous people out there, Florida also provides a legal nude beach for those who prefer to go "au naturale". Haulover Beach is located in Southeast Florida and it is strictly patrolled because it is a classified nudist beach. Security measures are set up to prevent gawkers and those caught gawking are usually arrested.

The scarcely visited beaches that are more remote have also become clothing optional but this is unofficially done. The good thing is that most of the clothing optional and nudist beaches have signs around its perimeter and they have a code of conduct that must always be observed. There are also nudist resorts that are found near Florida beaches.

From all over the United States, students flock to Florida to let loose and party hard under its glorious sun and fun beaches. The activities of the "Spring Breakers" on the beach begin early in the morning and last until late at night. They are known for their bizarre antics that consist of activities such as Jell-O fights to Bikini Contests. When nighttime arrives, their parties are relocated to nightclubs and they party on until the sun rises. A lot of families and older tourists avoid Florida during this season because of the spring break crowd.
