Copper Mountain - This is a very large resort made up of numerous others and is located in Summit County and of the many resorts around is one of the ones that will be recognized by skiers from around the globe. Because of its size this resort offers many types of slopes for those who are complete novices through to those who have considerable amounts of skiing experience.

Resorts which make up Copper Mountain include Beaver Creek and Vail, both of which is where major alpine skiing events take place each year. Then there is Wolf Mountain which is favored by many skiers because the slopes consistently have good amounts of snow fall on to them each year.
