Another location that you do not want to miss is the Bahia Honda State Park. It is well known for its sandy beaches and clear blue warm waters, not to mention the countless tall palm tress perfect for your hammock.

If you have been lucky enough to see a documentary based on the wild life, swamp areas or mangrove forests that it possesses, then you would have an idea of the beauty that is awaiting you. Ocala National Forest is well know for its natural springs. With so many activities to choose and things to see, tent camping can be quite a busy adventure. Of course, it can also be as relaxing as you like.

Salt Springs offers campers various spots to have a nice family picnic as well as catering for more physical activities like canoeing, hiking and swimming. The great attraction here is the swimming hole where the water is kept at practically 72 degrees by underground springs. Juniper Springs also offers the same activities but with the addition of snorkeling.

If you are into wildlife, you won't be disappointed. Alligators, egrets, armadillos and wild turkeys are just a few of the wide range of species that you might encounter while tent camping in Florida.
