Thanksgiving - The American Holiday

Many holidays have a universal appeal. Thanksgiving is definitely an American only holiday, a time when reflection, giving thanks and massive amounts of food all come together. Consider these thoughts on the subject by these historical figures.

Thanksgiving Day is a jewel, to set in the hearts of honest men; but be careful that you do not take the day, and leave out the gratitude. - E.P. Powell
