The Travel Industry Awaits the Work At Home Parent

By: Catherine Willis

I am a WAHM (work at Home Mom), and as such, I am always perusing the web seeking out genuine home-based opportunities.

While surfing the web one day, I came across a company called Coastal Vacations. I am always more than a little skeptical about such companies, particularly since so many con artists write me all the time!

If the overthrown Price of West Africa isn't dropping me an email asking me to share his riches, people looking for word processors are spamming my box, claiming that they will hire me on the condition I pay for their one of a kind " job list". Are there any true opportunities out there for people who desire to work from the comfort of their own homes?

Upon examining Coastal Vacations however, I found out that the company was on the up and up.

One thing that let me know they were legitimate, was that Coastal Vacations has been around thirteen-years. Another reason, is that their vacation packages are real, and not set up like a time-share arrangement. They also have something of a track record in the travel industry, a fact you can verify by checking around.

Individuals who are just looking for vacation discounts can come to Coastal Vacations and get a deal or two. Qualified members, in turn, can seek out the business end things, as Coastal Vacations also offer commissions to those who are interested in selling.

Coastal Vacations is more like a business association that offers wholesale travel packages. They supply them as retail or business opportunities. The three Costal Vacation travel packages range from $1,295 to $11,000. The more you pay, the greater the member benefits.

Another bonus! The business is not set up like a pyramid, networking, or MLM scheme, so you get to make your own money when you become a director. I felt that was pretty decent.

They also have a Coastal Call Center, which does most of the selling for you by cultivating your leads.

Now, out of everything I learned, this part was the most intriguing. Who wants a telemarketer trying to push them into buying something? I hate that and I wouldn't want to be that annoying person. With Coastal vacations, only interested people are approached and you don't have to try to make the sale!
