There are plenty of ways to see the changing colors of leaves in Connecticut.

There are 20 hot air balloon companies in the state of Connecticut. These companies offer a birds-eye view of the fall color bouquet. Many of the companies offer special deals that include stays at some of the beautiful and hospitable bed and breakfasts located throughout the state. It is even possible to have champagne balloon rides.

One of the more popular ways to see the fall foliage in Connecticut is to enjoy cruises. There are many different waterways in the state, and it also borders the Atlantic, so it is possible to take a sea-faring tour as well. There are a variety of cruises that include education and historical tours, as well as those for pure luxury. There are even cruises that last for multiple days.

Horse back riding especially by the moonlight is a more romantic way of catching the autumn spirit. You can savor the vibrance of colored leaves and the nature. Though the horse back riding goes on throughout the year yet autumn is the best time to enjoy the wonders of the foliage fall.

If you follow the Connecticut Wine Trail you can enjoy the beautiful and fine wines and also participate in the grape stomping and wine tasting contests. There are 14 vineyards along the trail, and you can explore it using a car or on a bike. Connecticut has kept up the tradition of wine trails in the Northeast, and offers a relaxing way to enjoy the fall season.

If you prefer to make your own way and explore the back roads, you can drive through Connecticut's beautiful rural countryside and see the trees in their full splendor. You can stay comfortably in one of the cozy bed-and-breakfast inns in the rural back roads. However, you must make reservations in advance because the inns are full during the autumn.

Do remember to enjoy the roadside dining during the fall foliage in Connecticut. The roadside small towns offer great and aplenty steak, seafood, New England delicacies and on the whole some awesome quaint dinners. The food is mostly fresh and organically grown.

Connecticut in fall foliage season is like a traveler's paradise. You can do so many things and yet no need to hurry. Savor the amazing food, scenery, wine and of course a wonderful company. It is a welcome break from normal running life.
