Eco travel - otherwise known as environmentally friendly travel - refers to travel that typically involves an especially fragile part of the planet by a touring company that strives for minimal impact on that environment. Many times, eco travel also includes donations or funds for various conservation efforts and might involve the assistance of the participants on the holiday in whichever locale they are visiting.
